Hampshire Council Cabinet considers Consultation on Mineral Plan

Hampshire County Council’s Cabinet is now considering a consultation paper on  the County’s Minerals & Waste Plan. The approved consultation document of Preferred Options will be issued by 31st October, for a 6 week public consultation. At this stage it would be premature for WRAGE to comment on what will be in the consultation document, however, it will certainly contain a list of preferred sites. The Cabinet report makes for interesting reading, as it lists the ‘proposed’ preferred sites, which unfortunately still includes Roeshot Hill as a preferred site, but not Walkford & Beckley Farm. A full press release will be made by WRAGE once the consultation document is issued, as this will be a crucial point for people to make their views known.
