A Residents’ meeting has been called by your local councilors, to discuss the recent developments regarding Dorset County Council’s consultation over their mineral extraction sites.
The site at Roeshot, which would link up with the site proposed by Hampshire, would create a giant ‘super site’, with an estimated 80 lorries coming in, and 80 going out each day, for at least 15 years.
The meeting will take place at 7pm, at the Community Hall, in Amethyst Road, Somerford.
