WRAGE makes its submission on the Roeshot site to Dorset County Council

As part of Dorset’s minerals and waste strategy, parties have been invited to submit sites for proposed gravel extraction. Bodorgan Properties (a company registered in Anglesey) has submitted the Roeshot site, which is owned by the Meyrick Estate.

All sites put forward are then put out for initial consultation by Dorset. This consultation closed on 12th December 2008.

WRAGE has looked carefully at the site details and created the submission document, which is listed below and has been sent to Dorset County Council.

WRAGE remains opposed to Roeshot being used for gravel extraction, and waste in-filling, for many reasons, and these are listed in the submission. Please click the link below to see our arguments against the site.
